The planning committee for Colorado’s State Party has been hard at work this summer planning the details for what will become one of the best parties of the upcoming year.
“You don’t want to miss the Colorado party this year. The event is planned for Monday, March 19, 2018. The event will be held from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. The theme for the Colorado 2018 party will be Rockin the Rockies,” said party co-chairperson Cheryl Murphy.
“PebbleCreek’s own PebbleRock Band will provide the music,” said Murphy. “We’ll be offering food, fun and great live music. We are encouraging attendees to dress rock ‘n roll style of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Think bobby socks, saddle shoes, poodle skirts, bomber jackets and hippie costumes.”
PebbleRock Band consists of PebbleCreek residents Gene Fioretti on keyboards, Robert Hover on guitar, Steve Jensen on bass and Howard Brodbeck on drums. They will be playing hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
The party will also feature a cocktail hour including a mixer game to encourage mingling. A buffet dinner and cash bar have been planned and will offer attendees plenty of time to socialize.
“Colorado’s annual State Party has outgrown the size of the Chianti Room as a site for our event. That’s good news because the past two years’ parties have sold out and each year we’ve had names on a waiting list wanting to attend the Colorado party; therefore, we have reserved the Tuscany Falls Ballroom this year, affording us more space, a great stage for the PebbleRock Band and plenty of room to dance. Tickets will go on sale in January. “It’s going to be a great event,” said Suki Fitzgerald, party co-chairperson.
