Fall is coming—on the 22nd. It’s time to explore a new image for yourself and your home.

What better medium to explore than glass, made from the heating of sand and chemicals, a perfect desert complement. Take a look at a special work entitled Tree of Life. It is made of iridized glass, a normal glass that has a thin, metallic coating on one side, creating a stunning surface.

Available in the Gallery are one-of-a–kind pieces formed from cut glass shapes. You can gaze at abstract wall hangings, geometric-designed plates, useful serving pieces and stunning gift items. Search for the small cactus glass flower pots in the Gallery, but don’t overlook the items in the display case outside the Stained and Fused Glass center adjacent to the Gallery. Items in the showcase are available for sale through the Gallery.

If the search for the perfect piece has you feeling strung out, there is a lovely selection of colorful glass pendants in the jewelry section of the Gallery.

Ladies, don’t forget you’ve earned a reward on Grandparents’ Day, according to Hallmark it falls on September 10. Check out the vast display of necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Mix and match to your heart’s delight. Create your individual style. There’s a lot to choose from. Pieces are crafted from genuine stones, shell, copper and crackled quartz. Styles include work in Kumihimo, a Japanese-style of braid making, wire wrap, lariats of small seed beads and one-to-many strands of small beads.

Jewelry includes items with religious pendants, animal pendants and charms. Enjoy a lingering look at a druzy, a natural pendant composed of micro-crystals over a stone. Have more than one grandchild? You’re entitled to several rewards, each designed to mirror your personality and life-style.

Did you know that you can buy glass glitter (just not at the Gallery!) to add a sparkling dusting to items you already own? Creative crafting has endless possibilities. Explore your own expression through a class or club at the Creative Arts Center. Or, you can await the December 2 artists’ fest that will stun you with a huge assortment of PC-crafted items for sale just in time for the holidays!
