Month by month, the 2022 primary and general election year is already gaining more momentum as the many announced GOP candidates make visiting with the PebbleCreek Republican Club members a top priority. On Jan. 29, the club’s members gathered in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom to hear from two candidates.

Karrin Taylor Robson, candidate for governor, spoke with the group about her longtime ties to the state, having been born and raised in Mesa, Ariz., and attending ASU Law School. As a conservative, securing the border is a top priority, and she wants to make sure that all Arizonians have the same opportunities she had.

Major General Mick McGuire, USAF (Ret.), is a candidate for the U.S. Senate. Gen. McGuire has deep family roots (since 1930) in Arizona, as well. As a graduate of the Air Force Academy and an F-16 fighter pilot, he proudly served our country for 38 years. As a conservative, he also believes the top priority is securing the border. “This campaign is not another title for me—it’s about fighting for you!” he said.
