Each month, the Camera Club selects a picture as Photo of the Month and for August, chose one of my landscape photos taken on a recent trip to Moab, Utah. If you have seen a Utah license plate, the iconic image on the plate is Delicate Arch, a popular attraction in Arches National Park. After completing a long hike in Canyonlands National Park, our group enjoyed a great Thai dinner in Moab, and then topped off the evening with a short but steep 1.6-mile hike up to enjoy close-up views of impressive Delicate Arch, the largest free-standing arch in Arches NP (46 ft. high, 32 ft. wide).
