On Thursday, November 10, 2016, Central Arizona Golf District (CAGD) held its annual Board Meeting and Luncheon in the Chianti Room in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse in PebbleCreek. In attendance were 39 members from Member Clubs throughout Central Arizona, nine from the PebbleCreek Golf Association (PCLGA), for the event that included the Installation of Officers for the 2017-2018 year. Past CAGD President Carolyn Suttles (2006-2007) from PCLGA was one of the members in attendance.
Past CAGD President Sue Harrison assisted by current CAGD Vice President Ann Page (both members of the PCLGA) installed the following officers: Treasurer Carole Weiler (Coyote Lakes) received a yellow rose/black ribbon to remind her to keep a sunny disposition while spending CAGD money and to keep CAGD in the black; Secretary Linda Laning (Kokopelli) received a white rose/blue ribbon to remind her of the white paper/blue ink she will use as secretary; Vice President Judi Sloan (Sun Lakes Oakwood) received a pink rose/pink ribbon to remind her that as vice president she stands beside the president always willing, able and prepared to assist her; and appointed Membership Chair Donnie Meyers (PebbleCreek) received a peach rose/peach ribbon to remind her to keep a peachy disposition while keeping accurate records that change constantly and to assist the treasurer.
