Members of the PebbleCreek Breast Cancer Discussion Group remained connected during the summer months by casually meeting for breakfast at Eagle’s Nest. In August, our group hosted a special guest and representative, Aimee Lay, from the neighboring cancer treatment center, City of Hope.
Mark your calendars! We will resume meeting back in the Tuscany Falls Clubhouse Thursday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. Those who are available will go to lunch after.
Residents, please consider participating with our members and me in a worthy fundraising opportunity this fall. As one of the top community fundraising teams last year, our 24 members raised close to $4,500 for this event. Our PebbleCreek Walkers for Hope 2026 team is now coming together to support the City of Hope’s core mission: making hope a reality for all touched by cancer. Every step we take and every dollar we raise supports scientists, doctors, and patients working toward cures. The walk is slated for Saturday, Nov. 7 at 8 a.m. at Goodyear’s City of Hope Cancer Center. Keep an eye out for more information to come.

The PebbleCreek Sewing Club partners with us, and lovingly sews pillows that we would like to give you. The pillows provide comfort following surgery or reconstruction.
