It’s that time again … time for Winter bocce league. Winter league will run for 15 weeks, Nov. 9 through Mar. 12.
On Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 9 a.m., Veterans Day, we will be honoring all veterans with a small Veterans Day Celebration ceremony at the bocce courts. Please join the festivities! Wear your red, white, and blue and a big smile to say Thank You. You do not need to be a bocce player to attend, all are welcome. All branches of service will be honored, as well as all of our PebbleCreek veterans.
Our PebbleCreek Bocce Club is proud to announce the donations we’ve made to local charities.
History … in 2023, we decided to eliminate individual prize money and make a charitable donation of $1,000 to local organizations, decided by the winter winning captains.
In 2024, we decided that we would increase the donation to $1,000 per session, also decided by the winning captains.
In 2025, captains decided to increase the prize money to $1,800 per session, which began for the winter session. They also decided to pre-donate the winter money to Agua Fria Food Bank during the Government shutdown, hence the higher donation amount for 2025 and missing winter donation in 2026.
Not including our 2026 Fall donations, since 2023, PC Bocce Club has donated a total of $10,035 to the following: New Life Center, Aqua Fria Food Bank, US Vets, City of Hope, St. Jude, Homeless Vets, Hospice of the Valley, Little Pink Houses, Vibrant Arts, and Tunnel to Towers.
