You won’t want to miss this dinner/dance on Feb. 19, sponsored by your PebbleCreek Ballroom Dance Club. What’s not to like about dinner and then dancing to the 15-member dance band Encores? Three PebbleCreekers are part of this band: Jeff Buda (talented director of the PebbleCreek Big Band), Howard Brodbeck, and David Skersick. The Black and White Dinner/Dance is an annual event in February; it’s designed to get you back out after all the holiday festivities we all enjoyed the last couple of months.
The evening starts at 5 p.m. with a no-host cocktail hour and ticket sales for the March dance. Dinner follows at 6 p.m., and then the dancing to big band starts at 7 p.m. Not into dancing? Then come enjoy the big band sounds that we’ve enjoyed through the years. Our choice of entrees for the evening are chicken cordon bleu, cranberry orange glazed salmon, or vegetable wellington.
Tickets are $42.50 for members and $52.50 for non-members; however, if you join at $20 per person, you get $5 off scheduled dances and $10 off for our three scheduled dinner/dances in 2022. Tickets will be sold from 10 a.m. to noon at the Eagle’s Nest kiosk on Tuesdays, Jan. 25, Feb. 1, and Feb. 8, and Thursdays, Jan. 27, Feb. 3, and Feb. 10. Payments may be made in cash or checks made out to PCBDC.
