Last June, members of Arizona Chapter Q gathered in the Eagle’s Nest Alcove to formulate the scope of the 2016 TTT annual Fashion Show and Luncheon. The meeting formally brought together ideas that had been discussed in the spring. As the camping project had been completed for 2015, it was now time to focus on next year’s campers.
It’s said that it takes a village to raise a child. In our case, it takes a chapter to raise the funds to send deserving fourth grade girls for a week of summer camp in the cool Prescott pines. Planning for our camp project begins over the months of June through August so that as the new school year begins, we are ready to meet with the teachers and staff. Each year our camp chairs begin the process.
The process for sending girls to camp involves a fundraising project. We are pleased to present once again our annual Fashion Show and Luncheon. It will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016, in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Raffle baskets and many artistic items will be on display in the Chianti Room at 11:00 a.m. for previewing. Luncheon seating will start at 11:30 a.m. The program will showcase a new feature that we hope all will enjoy.
