Bus Trip: Beauty and the Beast at Gammage—July 1
Be Our Guest at Disney’s 30th Anniversary production of Beauty and the Beast, the breathtaking musical filled with the romance and grandeur audiences know and love. This enchanting and timeless tale has been brought to life like never before, with spectacular new sets and dazzling costumes. The show boasts the Oscar-winning and Tony Award-nominated score, including the classic songs “Be Our Guest” and “Beauty and the Beast.” Reuniting to create this new production are members of the original Tony Award-winning artistic team, including composer Alan Menken, lyricist Tim Rice, book writer Linda Woolverton, with direction and choreography by Matt West, scenic design by Stanley A. Meyer, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward and lighting design by Natasha Katz. Beauty and the Beast is the beloved musical that will fill your heart with joy and Disney magic. Bus Trip: Diamondbacks vs. Brewers—July 3; Independence Day Game w/Fireworks; 6:40 game
Be part of D-backs this summer as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers for the 6:40 p.m. game. Join us Friday, July 3 for this all-American event. The outing includes roundtrip motor coach transportation and Diamond Level seats in the popular “All You Can Eat” seats in Section 222. Includes All You Can Eat’ hot dogs, potato chips, popcorn, peanuts and fountain soda through the end of the 7th Inning. Bring your family and friends for an exciting game of baseball. Space is limited so buy your tickets early! Fireworks are scheduled post-game, and are subject to weather permitting. Tickets go on sale June 10 at 8 a.m. in the Activities Office; Price: $95. The motor coach will depart from the area in front of the Armed Forces Plaza at 4:30 p.m. Please arrive by 4:15 p.m. to ensure a timely departure.
Summer Dance Series with Thaddeus Rose—July 9, TF Ballroom; on sale June 17
DJ Thaddeus Rose is back this summer with our summer dance series, theme to be announced. Thaddeus spins our favorite dance tunes in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. Even better—dance prices are just $10 per person for this special summer dance series—so no excuse not to come on out and have fun! Cash bar. 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Tickets on sale June 17 at 8 a.m. in the Activities Office.
Recreation: Summer Game Nite—Audience Up! July 10 and July 31
Summertime Game Nites return with “Audience Up,” an evening of interactive audience participation games (previously known as “TV Dinners”), for three nites this summer, you the audience provide the entertainment as hosts Melissa Kallett and Patti Wegehaupt lead you in various interactive games! Game Nites will take place at the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom at 6:30 p.m. on the nites listed below.Tickets are $20 each, and include a complimentary drink at the bar. Participants can bring their own finger foods (chips, cookies, and the like) to nosh on during the evening. Gather your friends, spouse, and guests and come join the fun. An evening of laughs is ensured, and the ballroom is air conditioned! Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. the Activities Office: June 19–July 2 (Game 2 or Games 2-3), July 16–24 (Game 3). You can purchase tickets for just one game, or all. Payment with homeowner’s card or credit card.

The American Highwaymen celebrate the music, chemistry, camaraderie, and the fun of one of the most iconic and entertaining super groups of all time. Featuring the music of Johnny Cash. Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and of course, the music from The Highwaymen group recordings. Just like the original super group, The American Highwaymen is made up of four artists with attention to detail and proven musical careers that have united to create this truly special show. Ghost in the Machine—A Tribute to Sting and The Police—Sept. 12
Ghost in the Machine is the premier Police/Sting tribute band in the country. They faithfully and accurately reproduce the recordings of The Police and Sting as we have heard them countless times on the radio and CDs, using a full complement of top musicians and singers to achieve all the parts on the records. They perform these totally live (no tracks), while at the same time delivering a live concert show that is at once energetic and amazing, leaving the audience screaming for more. Want to hear those Andy Summers solos on Message in a Bottle—done. Want to hear Sting’s amazing bass lines on Wrapped Around My Finger—you will. Looking for those background harmonies on Brand New Day—they’re all there. What about the keyboard parts on Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic? Or the horn lines on Set Them Free—they’re all there LIVE! Want to not only hear all the syncopated Stewart Copeland drum parts, but see them done on one of only 15 kits made to Stewart’s order—you’ll hear and see that. A Flawless Eagles Tribute—Experience the Timeless Sound of the Eagles, Note for Note with the worlds best Eagles Cover Band. One of These Nights is a note for note tribute to the Eagles. Based out of both Chicago and Arizona, One of These Nights has established themselves as one of the top drawing Eagles cover bands in the country. Performing at festivals, casinos, performing arts centers and private and corporate events, audiences marvel at the precision with which One of These Nights performs. They often play a double classic album show performing both Greatest Hits Volume 1 and the Hotel California album from cover to cover.
