Cinema Society: Summer Series with Leonard Maltin—Sept. 21—“Singin’ in the Rain”

Individual or partial season tickets are still available. Summer Cinema begins at 11 a.m. in The Renaissance Theater.

Dance: Thursday Nights Summer Dance Series—“Cut Loose…Footloose” (80s dance theme)—Sept. 28

Thursday nights with Thaddeus Rose Summer Dance Series continues Thursday Sept. 28 with our “Cut Loose…Footloose” ’80s dance theme! Wear your favorite ’80s gear and get ready to cut loose! The dance begins at 6:30 p.m. and all your boogie-feet should be ready to stop by 9:30 p.m. The cash bar opens at 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person. Tables of 10 or individual tickets are available while supplies last. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 23 at 8 a.m. in the Activities Office. Payment by HOA Member Charge only. This dance takes place in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.

Cinema Society Renewals Begin on Oct. 3

Cinema Society 2023-24 Season announced! Select Thursdays November through April, 10 a.m., Renaissance Theater. Cinema Society is back for another season. Renewing members sign up beginning Oct. 3 at 9 a.m. in the Activities Office. Membership is $141 per person; paid by HOA Member Charge only. Film titles will be distributed upon sign-up. Season dates to be shared soon. Should space be available, new members can sign up beginning Oct. 30.

Concert: Piano Men: Generations—The Music Of Billy Joel and Elton John—Oct. 7

Two men, two pianos, one incredible band. Piano Men: Generations celebrates the musical influences of Billy Joel and Elton John brought to you by the amazing father and son team of Terry and Nick Davies and their incredible band. Not only have Billy and Elton written and performed music that transcends four decades of music lovers—both have done so, not standing center stage, but seated behind the ebony and ivory of an instrument that will forever define the spirit of their music. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will be mesmerized by this incredible band. $35 per person. Limit of 4 tickets per person. Tickets on sale at 9 a.m. online and in the Activities Office starting Tuesday, Aug. 15. Should a 3 p.m. show be needed, it will go on sale at 9 a.m. starting Thursday, Aug. 17. Bus Trip: Tina Turner Musical—ASU Gammage—Oct. 11

Tickets for the Tina Turner Musical Bus Trip go on sale in the Activities Office on Aug. 22 at 9 a.m. There is a 2 ticket limit per person. Tickets are $90 each and include roundtrip transportation in a luxury motorcoach. The bus will depart from the area in front of the Armed Forces Plaza at 5 p.m. Due to potential traffic and the enhanced security screening at the auditorium, we are leaving plenty of time to ensure we are not late or rushed. Drinks and light snacks are offered in the ASU Gammage lobby, and typically there is show related merchandise as well. We do suggest eating before or bringing a snack along with you to enjoy on the bus. There will be one intermission. We expect to be back by 11 p.m. provided no traffic on the return portion. Concert: Aeromyth—Aerosmith Tribute—November 19

Formed in 2007 and hailed worldwide as, “The Ultimate Aerosmith Tribute Experience.” Aeromyth has achieved a level of success and notoriety nearly unheard of in the Tribute community. Paying their dues and honing their craft for well over a decade, the band has performed countless shows. Touring internationally with venues ranging in size from clubs and theaters straight up to Dodger Stadium, they have defined themselves through a combination of stellar live performance recreations, uncanny physical likeness, and unparalleled musicianship. The band’s only objective is very simply “The suspension of disbelief while remaining true to the undeniable spirit of America’s greatest rock band.” $35 per person. Limit of 4 tickets per person. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. online and in the Activities Office on Tuesday, Oct. 17. Should a 3 p.m. show be needed, it will go on sale at 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 19.
