As new technology is greeted by its users as being innovative and the next best tool, so quilters are always discovering the next tool that might help our process and produce better results. In celebration of our favorite or unique tools quilters like to use, an evening of Gadget Gab was held recently in the Diamondback Room.
It was a fun evening of sharing and trying out the favorite tools of the attendees. The range of tools went from vintage to comments of “what is that?” Many stories were shared as well as identifying what an item was. Unique items included a magnetic ironing mat that a quilter uses on top of her drier and in her RV to a Pintastic Pin dispenser.
