Mike and Arlene Girard are true car people. They are members of the PebbleCreek Classic Car Club and participate in club activities, as well as local car shows and events. Arlene’s favorite ride is a 1956 Chevy. Mike’s baby is a 1932 Ford Roadster. This summer was magical for Mike. They travelled to the east coast trailering their ’32 Roadster. On Sept. 12, they went to the annual car show, Cruzin The Boards in Ocean City, New Jersey. There were 200 cars poised on the boardwalk, which was great entertainment for car enthusiasts. The real excitement came when Mike’s 1932 Roadster was chosen as Best of Show. Congratulations are in order for Mike Girard, who has spent countless hours making sure his baby is in top form.

The PebbleCreek Classic Car Club is now meeting on a quarterly social basis. Our fall meeting was a club sponsored picnic at the Oasis Pool Cabana. Members enjoyed great food and great conversation. The next gathering will be a holiday luncheon on Dec. 5. For information about the club or club activities, contact Charlie Miller, president, or Linda Babcock, secretary.
