Come join us in September as Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary begins their weekly meetings on Sept. 2. We meet at the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse in the Palm Room most weeks and in the ballroom the second Wednesday of every month.
Goodyear PebbleCreek Rotary is committed to serving the West Valley through community grants, community service, and community engagement. We strive to provide informative and engaging speakers that inform our members and guests each week.
As we kick off our year on Sept. 2, we will meet in the ballroom at the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse. Members and guests will have the opportunity to learn about our club structure and the 5 Avenues of Service: Community Service, Youth Service, International Service, Vocational Service, and Club Service. On Sept. 9, we will again meet in the ballroom for our monthly Avenues of Services Planning Teams. Committees will work on their goals for the year, plan activities to achieve their goals, and gain feedback from the membership.
Our first speaker will be on Sept. 16, in the Palm Room. City of Goodyear City Manager, Bryan Langley, will speak on what’s happening in the City of Goodyear and the task of managing our growing community. On Wednesday, Sept. 23, Laura Colantoni will share about All Faith Community Services. Our speaker on Wednesday, Sept. 30 will be Wesley Sylvester with APS Palo Verde Generating Station. These three meetings will take place in the Palm Room at the Eagle’s Nest Clubhouse.
Coming in October: Our first Road Clean Up is scheduled for Oct. 4 at 7:30 a.m. Meet in the parking lot by the Activities Center. Mark your calendar for Oct. 7 when District 5495 Governor, Joe Sweeney, will be our speaker.
