Election Essentials: Election Committee Seeking Board of Directors Candidates

The PebbleCreek Homeowners Association (PCHOA) Election Committee is seeking candidates interested in running for PebbleCreek’s board of directors.

This October, the election will be for the seat currently held by John Cohn; one of the two current homeowner board positions and is for a two-year term beginning Jan. 1.

“Our board election is an important event every year,” noted Jack Gregory, PCHOA Board President, “but maybe more so this year. Our developer, Robson Communities Inc. (RCI) will turn over control of the HOA to the homeowners next yearso the person we elect this fall will be a key contributor to finalizing the transition process and making sure the transition goes smoothly.”

The Election Committee anticipates that an additional election will occur in the late winter 2026 or early spring 2027 to select the three homeowners who will replace the Robson board members on the transition date. Having a pool of candidates for the additional seats is also extremely important, and why the election committee is working so hard to encourage your participation now and consideration for running for the board in the future.

To make it easier, the Election Committee has created an online form for candidates interested in running for PebbleCreek’s future board of directors. The online form makes it easier for candidates to declare their intent to run. The online form can be found on the Election Committee page on the HOA Board > Committee tab on the PCHOA website: pebblecreekhoa.org.

In addition to completing the form, candidates must be homeowners in good standing and available to attend HOA board and committee meetings. A director’s duties and responsibilities are described in Article V Section 2 of PebbleCreek’s CC&Rs, which are posted on the PCHOA website.

Interested candidates for the October election must submit their intent to run no later than 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, with a deadline date for the additional election to be announced. Candidates who prefer completing a paper form, can get one from the Eagle’s Nest Resident and Guest Services desk.

In addition to the online form, the following documents can be found on the Election Committee page on the HOA website:

* Election Information for 2026

* Important Election Dates for 2026

* Resources for Self-Study regarding PebbleCreek

* HOA Organization Chart

Candidates will receive more election details, including deadlines and processes for candidates’ publishing their own publicity in the monthly PebbleCreek Post and weekly online PebbleNews.
