April showers still bring May flowers especially on all the blooming cactus in Arizona! No, we don’t shoot real cactus silly. We shoot at cactus paper targets.
We’ve noticed that these spring showers also show all the dirt on your car so the prizes for this contest? First prize: Coupon for a Car Wash at Cobblestone. Second prize: a Car Wash Kit. And a, ‘thank you for playing’ prize: a bag of Costco chocolate chip cookies!
Pistol or Rifle, our members got to choose their favorite gun. We just adjusted the distance to make it fair for this little contest. Pistol targets were at 10 yards and rifles were at 25 with no sight assistance on either. If you hit the flower on the cactus you got extra points, which meant more tickets in the bucket for a greater chance to win a prize.
It was fun—targets were hit—and no living cactus died in this event!
