Camping4Girls had five very successful fundraisers at various local restaurants in April and May, and we would like to thank all the PebbleCreek residents who participated!
We took our chosen fourth grade girls from Heritage Elementary School shopping to Walmart, where we had lunch and chose all the clothing and supplies they’ll need for their camping experience. They will leave for a week of Girl Scout Camp on a Sunday in June, and we look forward to picking them up the following Friday and hearing about their experiences. In July we will meet with the campers again, along with their families, at Golden Corral, where the girls will receive their school supplies for 2026-27, based on the requirements of the Heritage Elementary fifth grade teachers.
We installed two more new members to our chapter. We are so happy to be growing!
Members meet monthly throughout the year in the PC Clubhouse. We also meet with the chosen girls throughout the year, and we keep in touch with the girls who attended camp in the past while they are still at Heritage Elementary.
