Election Essentials: Declare Your Candidacy for the HOA Board Online!

Susan Knox Wilson

“A few years ago, the PebbleCreek Homeowners Association (PCHOA) Election Committee launched an online form for candidates interested in running for PebbleCreek’s board of directors. The online form worked perfectly and made it easier for candidates to declare their intent to run, anytime and from anywhere,” said Jack Gregory, Board President and liaison to the Election Committee. “We are seeking candidates for our yearly election that will be held this fall. This election is for one of the two current homeowner board positions and is for a two-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2027. We anticipate an additional election in the late winter or early spring of 2027 to select the three homeowners who will replace the Robson board members on the transition date.”

The online form can be found on the Election Committee page in the HOA Board>Committee tab on the PCHOA website: www.pebblecreekhoa.org.

In addition to completing the form, candidates must be homeowners in good standing and available to attend HOA board and committee meetings. A director’s duties and responsibilities are described in Article V Section 2 of PebbleCreek’s CC&Rs, which are posted on the PCHOA website.

Interested candidates must submit their intent to run no later than 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21. Candidates who prefer completing a paper form can get one from the Eagle’s Nest Resident and Guest Services desk.

In addition to the online form, the following documents can be found on the Election Committee website:

* Election Information for 2026

* Important Election Dates for 2026

* Resources for Self-Study regarding PebbleCreek

* HOA Organization Chart

Candidates will receive more election details, including deadlines and processes for candidates’ publishing their own publicity in the monthly PebbleCreek Post and weekly online PebbleNews.
