You’ve heard the saying, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure?” And it’s especially true for crafters. That one special ruler purchased for one special project and never used again. That pack of thread in colors you thought you needed but already have. Pillow forms you intended to use for that new sofa but just lost interest. Fabric. Patterns. Buttons and baubles. Doodads and thing-a-mabobs!
All that and more will be on sale by residents at the Trash to Treasures Sale, Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Fiber Arts Room of the Creative Arts Center.
Twelve club members will offer unique and useful items from their “stash” for sale for you to use to create your own handmade items. There will be no finished items, but lots of pieces and parts to use in your own creative way.
Cash and checks will be accepted, and some vendors will accept Venmo and Zelle. Open to all residents and guests. Free entrance. For more information, please contact Dava Esman at DavaEsman@gmail.com.
