The Desert Rovers will again bring to PebbleCreek an afternoon of folk music from the ‘60s and ‘70s. This free music event will take place on Sunday, November 1 at 4:00 p.m. on the Eagle’s Nest patio and lawn.
Joining the Desert Rovers this year will be Jeff Harrison of the very popular Arizona Trio and Joe Armbruster, winner of the PebbleCreek Has Talent competition in May.
As in the past, this is a free event; however, this is another opportunity for residents to make a contribution to the Build the Backstage project, an ongoing effort to raise funds to pay for much needed backstage enlargement/improvements to be completed during the summer and fall of 2016.
For the Folk Festival this year, Food & Beverage will have their food cart with hot dogs, hamburgers and pulled pork sandwiches with chips, for $5 to $7 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The bar will also be open at 3:00 p.m. and will remain open throughout the performance. Please plan to pay cash for your food, as they cannot process credit cards at the food cart.
The Desert Rovers are proud to be a part of this effort and they hope that PebbleCreekers will turn out in the numbers they have in the past for this afternoon of music and fun and embrace this opportunity to contribute to the Build the Backstage project.
Patio seating is limited, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets.
Come and enjoy the music and sing along with the folk songs you loved back then!
