Cliff Olson, one of our members, deserves special recognition. He not only is an avid member of the PC Putters Club, he also sets up our challenging courses every week. Cliff is a hard worker in PebbleCreek and the Putters Club. He is the person that adds challenge to our putting course every week.

It may sound easy but there is a lot more to it than just arranging flags. He has to consider difficulty, flow of traffic and interferences of lines to other holes. Difficulty is important because we pay out for holes-in-one and we don’t want the locations to be too easy that everyone is making one putts. Flow of traffic is important to have the starting position for the next hole close to the hole just completed. Also the holes need to avoid crossing each other so that we aren’t in the way of the putters on another hole.

To do the entire above, Cliff has to come early to get it ready before the putters arrive. Cliff spends a lot of extra time doing this and other things for the PC Putters Club.

Cliff is one of the Golf Course Rangers. He is very helpful to the golfers he meets and is always friendly. He also runs Cliff’s Golf Carts, a rental and cart sale business here in PebbleCreek.

Many thanks and congratulations to Cliff for being a terrific member of the Putters Club and a wonderful person.
