More than 100 members and invited guests of the PebbleCreek Republican Club met Thursday, February 5 in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom for a 6:30 p.m. Social Time and 7:00 p.m. meeting.
The meeting started off with the exciting announcement from President Linda Migliore that the PebbleCreek Republican Club was named number one in Arizona for the second time in three years. Another highlight was the presentation of a $707 check by Vice President Anne Gregerson to Master Sergeant Z. Wayne Zuiderhof of Luke Air Force Base for the Thunderbox Project. The project sends Care Packages to the military stationed overseas and is funded by the club’s 50/50 drawings. Club members have frequent packing sessions at Luke Air Force base.
Guest speaker was A.J. La Faro who has a long pedigree, including immediate past Chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Committee, Chairman of the AZGOP Statewide Voter Registration and Founding Member of the AZGOP Military/Veterans Services Committee.
Mr. LaFaro covered many state and local issues, including the investigations into voter fraud in the November election showing video tapes of ballot stuffing. Over a half hour of lively Q & A followed the presentation.
Upcoming events for the club and invited guests include a March 4 State Capitol Tour lunch with House Majority Leader Representative Steve Montenegro, March 5 Membership Meeting and April 2 picnic in the Chianti Room.
