The PebbleCreek Roadrunners ladies traveling golf team has completed six very tough competitions on the road on some very challenging yet beautiful courses. The team has played at Wildfire, Tonto Verde, Superstition, Desert Mountain, Red Mountain Ranch and most recently at Anthem Golf Club. The weather at Anthem was very chilly with wind gusts of 30-40 mph. After fighting the strong winds, mostly in their faces, the team ended up finishing third gross. After golf they enjoyed a nice light meal and a beautiful sunset from inside the clubhouse.
The standings after six competitions have the PebbleCreek Roadrunner ladies in fourth place gross, and fifth place net. They are playing solid golf but facing stiff competition. However, what matters most is that the Roadrunners are having a fabulous time playing together as a team in a two lady best ball format.
There are two more competitions for the league this season. They will play at Briarwood on March 26 and then the grand finale will be hosted by PebbleCreek on April 2. The Roadrunners are looking forward to finishing the 2018 season with strong play. Go PCLGA Roadrunners!
