It will be hard to top the 25th annual Fall Home & Garden Tour of last November which, through the wonderful support of PebbleCreek residents, raised more than $15,000 for the Goodyear Shop with a Cop program. However, we are confident it can be done!
The first element required to make that happen is to have our PebbleCreek homeowners offer their homes for possible inclusion on the tour. We are all so blessed to have lovely homes in this spectacular community. This is just one way we can use these blessings to help underprivileged children in our city.
The Home & Garden Tour brings together so many elements of our community: Committee members, volunteers, sponsors, and homeowners. For those involved in the tour, past and present, community is the common thread. From its beginning in 1996, the Home Tour has been helping children and has become one of the most important ongoing, community-building events in PebbleCreek. It takes more than 100 volunteers—homeowners, hostesses, sponsors, committee members, and many more to make this tour happen. It takes the entire PebbleCreek community supporting the event by purchasing tickets to have a successful tour.
The Home Tour committee members are Wally Campbell, Charlotte Krause, Barbara Hockert, Suzanne Butler, and Janet Duke. Because our committee is volunteer-based, 100% of the Home Tour proceeds are passed on to the Goodyear Police Department for the Shop with a Cop program each year. This is truly a wonderful outreach in our community.
Please consider having your home on this year’s Fall Home & Garden Tour, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022. Perhaps you have recently redecorated, remodeled, restructured, or expanded one of the home models from a few years ago. Or, maybe you have incorporated unique collections from past travels or hobbies into your decorating that reflect who you are and where you’ve been in the past. Then again, you may have just completed building and decorating your new dream home in PebbleCreek!
