The sixteenth annual PCSSA Golf Tournament proved to be a most enjoyable event for all who participated. 106 current and retired players, as well as some sponsors, took part in a fun-filled event that included not only the tournament, but a lunch at the ballpark and awards ceremonies. President Ken Johnson served as the Master of Ceremonies.
There were golf skill awards for three flights, four closest-to-the-pin winners and the Straightest Drive. Cigar and 50-50 raffles and door prizes were also awarded.
The golf tournament committee was chaired by Jim Beyers, who was assisted by Lee Ayers, Al Chandler, Bill Gainer, Vince Richey and Dick Gwilt. Ronnie Decker and Dave Vader assigned the teams and determined the scoring. Many other volunteers took part in making this tourney a most enjoyable one.
