We are proud to announce the 15th Annual PebbleCreek Irish American Club Charity Golf Tournament, our biggest fundraiser of the year. In the past six years, the Irish American Club has donated nearly $150,000 to local charities and scholarships for Millennium High School students.

If you are playing in the tournament, you will have an invitation to join the Calcutta, a new event this year, on Saturday, March 2 in the Tuscany Falls Chianti Room. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. Details of the Calcutta and Tournament Information can be found on our website at pcirishaz.org.

On Sunday, March 3 check-in begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. for the 18-hole tournament. This year you will be playing Tuscany Falls West, and the format will be Irish Four-ball with a modified Stableford scoring. It’s a format that levels the playing field and is known for its faster pace of play. Cash prizes will be given to the top three teams.

The 9-hole tournament check-in begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. on the Tuscany Falls East back nine. The format will be a four-person scramble, flighted by Men, Women, and Mixed teams. Cash prizes will be given to the winners of each flight. Men will tee off from the white tees and women from the red tees. Minimum one drive per person. The lowest gross score in each flight will win a cash prize.

Players will enjoy complimentary coffee and doughnuts while picking their raffle baskets and placing bids on the silent auction items. Once on the course you have a chance to win cash prizes for closest to the pin, closest to the centerline, and, if the Golf Gods are with you, get a hole-in-one and walk away with a fabulous prize.

The awards luncheon and cash bar will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom. The raffle basket winners will be drawn and posted prior to the luncheon, so you can check on your way in to see if you were a lucky winner. Since this is an Irish-themed tournament there will be cash prizes for the man, woman, and foursome that best represents the “Wearing of the Green.” May the luck of the Irish be with you.

This is considered a “private event” until Jan. 1, 2024. On Jan. 1, pending space available, the tournament will be open for registration for non-club members. To register and pay for your team online, please go to our website, pcirishaz.org, under the Events tab for additional information. If you have questions about the tournament, please contact Greg Roth, co-chair, at [email protected] or 425-238-1587.

The Irish American Club thanks you for your support.
