The 13th Annual Books ’n Lunch, held March 21, drew a record 300 guests to the Tuscany Falls Ballroom, thanks to the strong support of PebbleCreek residents and area attendees.
Hosted by P.E.O. Chapter DM (Philanthropic Educational Organization), a nonprofit dedicated to motivating, educating, and celebrating women, the event featured presentations from Arizona authors, along with a silent auction and raffle of gift baskets. Together, these efforts helped raise more than $5,000 to fund scholarships and educational opportunities for women.
P.E.O. Chapter DM members are already planning for next year’s event at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom and invite the community to save the date for Saturday, March 13, 2027.
Next year’s luncheon will feature guest author Debbie Macomber, a New York Times bestselling writer of romance and contemporary women’s fiction. With more than 200 books—many adapted for television—her latest release, Chasing the Clouds Away, is among the many titles readers may wish to explore ahead of the event.
P.E.O. Chapter DM looks forward to welcoming guests again for another engaging afternoon of literature, community, and support for women’s advancement.
