In the pre-COVID-19 days, the club did fundraising during the December Gala. Donations in those times were raised from silent auctions and raffles, which offered fine wines, tours of wineries in Napa Valley, and cruises on the Douro River in Portugal. This year, the club’s board decided to auction wines that had been accumulated for its annual Patio Party in April. Needless to say, that party was cancelled because of the coronavirus. The virus was also going to prevent the Patio Party in 2021. So, what to do with 30 cases of excellent wine? The solution was to auction the wines off to our members and give the proceeds to Kare Bears.

It is a continuing honor for the PebbleCreek Wine Club to support Kare Bears in their good works serving our community.
