The Broadway Concerts – June 5, 2015 – Renaissance Theatre

The Broadway Concerts bring to the stage the greatest hits of Broadway and the West End in one massive show of blockbusters. From West Side Story to Les Miserables; from Oklahoma to Phantom of the Opera, this show will appeal to music and concert lovers everywhere. This show takes the most popular songs from the most successful musicals and presents them in a one of a kind concert. Southern Arizona Old West and Wine Bus Tour – June 11 and 12

Explore some of southern Arizona’s treasures. Visit Tombstone, the Town Too Tough to Die, and enjoy wine tasting at some of Arizona’s premier wineries. Day one: Depart the Valley and travel to Tombstone, the Town Too Tough to Die. Tombstone is a historic western city, founded in 1879 by Ed Schieffelin in what was then Pima County, Arizona Territory. You will visit the Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park, the Bird Cage Theater, OK Corral and Boot Hill Cemetery. Lunch is on your own in Tombstone and then you will continue to Sierra Vista for the evening. Day two: Depart for Sonoita and enjoy a day of wine tasting and touring. Love the One You’re With – A Salute to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young Concert – June 20; Starring: Five Way Street – Renaissance Theatre

David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young are each unbelievable songwriters and solo artists in their own right, but when their voices came together they created legendary harmonies and songs that have come to define a generation. Five Way Street has been compared to CSNY “at the height of their game.” Performing an audience pleasing mix of iconic CSNY favorites such as Our House, Woodstock and Ohio, the show also highlights the artist’s solo hits including Neil Young’s Heart of Gold and Old Man and even touches on the artist’s earlier years with groups such as the Hollies and Buffalo Springfield. Come join us on a comfortable Motorcoach for a fun day of shopping at Phoenix area landmarks. The iconic IKEA will start the day with unique products, international style and even a great cafeteria. After our time there we will travel to Arizona Mills. You will find fabulous shopping and dining experiences at Arizona Mills Mall. With more than 170 value retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues it’s easy to lose track of the hours spent here. Outlet stores are plentiful including Neiman Marcus’ Last Call Clearance Center and Samsonite’s company store. Other stores include Bebe and Mikasa Home Store as well as Oshman’s Supersports USA. 3 International Tenors Concert – July 3, 2015 – Renaissance Theatre

3 International Tenors is a tribute to some of the finest music in the world and features show stopping performances that pay homage to the likes of Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Enrico Caruso and others. It includes stirring renditions of some of the most memorable songs ever written including Time to Say Goodbye, Ave Maria and Nessum Dorma along with a very special appearance from Korean soprano, Michele Oh. Very few artists leave such an indelible mark on the world that their work transcends categorization and generations. One name that belongs on this very short list is Hank Williams, Sr. While he was country through and through, his iconic catalog has stood the test of time and provided an endless source of inspiration for generations of musicians to follow. The sounds of surf, sun and classic cars set the backdrop for the legendary 1960s Beach Boys presented by world renowned show Catch a Wave (formerly known as The Beach Toys). Right down to the exact striped shirts, instruments and amplifiers, this act is also the only Beach Boys show to have been personally selected by performer Brian Wilson, The Beach Boys, their families and friends for the California Beach Boys state landmark dedication. There is nothing that can stir old memories like revisiting the music of your teen years. Back in the 50s and 60s, Teen Idols delivered songs and images that stayed with us all our lives. This show takes you back to relive those memories through the sounds and sights of all your favorite teen idols. Each of these acts came from different backgrounds, but the result of what came out of tiny AM radio speakers was universally accepted as Teen Idol fandemonium. The Amazing Dueling Pianos Show – September 18, 2015 – Renaissance Theatre

Dueling Pianos has been one of the hottest live entertainment formats for over 30 years. Veteran performers Pete Wilson and Billy Ward have taken Dueling Pianos to a new level, blending classical and standards from the 30s, 40s, and 50s together with classic sing-along favorites. “We were very much inspired by the shows of Victor Borge,” says Pete Wilson “We wanted a show that has something for everybody; combining an all-request, high energy interactive show with comedy and some serious performance pieces all rolled into one show.” Audiences have raved about the duo’s versatility, musicianship and quick witted comedy that have set The Amazing Dueling Pianos show apart from all the rest. The Tokens Live in Concert– September 26, 2015 – Renaissance Theatre

In 1961 The Tokens, four boys from Brooklyn, recorded The Lion Sleeps Tonight on the RCA label. The song (originally a Zulu folk song called M’bube and Anglicized to Wimoweh) soared up the charts to become the number one hit in the nation. To date, it has sold over 15 million copies and is known throughout the world. In a survey conducted by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Record Industry Association of America, The Tokens’ classic recording of The Lion Sleeps Tonight placed 159th in the top 365 records of all time. The band’s other hits include Tonight I Fell In Love, I Hear Trumpets Blow and Portrait of My Love. They have also produced many number one recordings for groups such as The Chiffons (He’s So Fine and One Fine Day), The Happenings (See You In September and I Got Rhythm) and Tony Orlando and Dawn (Candida, Knock Three Times and Tie A Yellow Ribbon.) True rock pioneers, they were among the first to successfully use the falsetto lead voice, a sound that later influenced groups from the Four Seasons and the Beach Boys to Led Zeppelin and Rush. They were also the first group to play their own instrument tracks for recording sessions. In 1998 The Tokens became the first and only group to sing the National Anthem in all major league ballparks in one season. This accomplishment landed them into the Guinness Book of World Records. On July 6 of 2005, The Tokens were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame. Their blend of showmanship humor and excellent musicianship has made them a favorite headliner throughout the world. Cory McCloskey’s Love Boat – October 2, 2015 – Renaissance Theatre

One of the best things about a cruise vacation is the live entertainment. At the end of a busy day on the ship, hundreds of passengers gather in the showroom at sea to watch one of the many varied types of performers; jugglers, magicians, comedians, singers, dancers and so much more. Cory McCloskey, from FOX 10 in Phoenix and TAD Management have teamed up to bring the ship to you! (Well, the show at least!) Cory presents an old school variety show featuring some of the best acts you can see on the best cruise ships in the world. On any given night you will see Cory present a minimum of three diverse acts all backed by a sensational, ship-styled live band. Experience the Granddaddy of Them All – the Rose Bowl Parade! Day one: Depart the Valley and travel to Southern California. This afternoon, tour the Kimberly Crest House and Gardens. Continue to Diamond Bar and check into the Holiday Inn. An East Coast New Year’s Eve Dinner and Toast (at 9:00 p.m., which is midnight on the East Coast, is included. Lights out early!) Day two: A box breakfast is included this morning. Depart early for the Tournament of Roses Parade. Reserved seats are included. After the parade visit Hollywood. December ’63 Concert – January 10, 2016 – Renaissance Theatre

The music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons comes to life in this recreation of a Frankie Valli Concert experience. December ‘63 showcases all your favorite songs from Frankie Valli including the one of a kind classics that have been thrilling audiences for decades including everyone’s most popular singles from the musical The Jersey Boys.

Before The Beatles landed on the shores of the United States, The Four Seasons were the most popular band in the country. The British Invasion created a huge shift in American pop music tastes but yet, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons continued to knock out hits. The Four Seasons were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and joined the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999. They are one of the best-selling groups of all time, having sold 175 million records worldwide. In 1962, the group released their first album, featuring the single Sherry, which was not only their first charted hit but also their first number one song. The Four Seasons followed up Sherry with several million selling hits, including Big Girls Don’t Cry, (their second number one hit), Walk Like A Man (their third number one), Candy Girl and several others. From 1962 to early 1964, only The Beach Boys matched the Four Seasons in record sales in the United States. The Oak Ridge Boys in Concert (Yes, the real guys!) – February 15 and 16, 2016, for four shows in the Renaissance Theatre!

Theirs is one of the most distinctive and recognizable sounds in the music industry. The four part harmonies and upbeat songs of The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of Country hits and a number one Pop smash, earned them Grammy, Dove, CMA and ACM awards and garnered a host of other industry and fan accolades.
