The August Unit 41 party was a huge success! The black and white themed sit-down dinner party was planned and hosted by Nevin Nelson.
Everyone wore black and white and even the fabulous table center pieces were in keeping with the theme.
Food, fun and a wonderful time visiting with friends and neighbors was enjoyed by all.
Thank you, Nevin, for opening your home and for all your hard work!
Unit 61

Unit 61 held an ice cream social at the home of Chuck and Kris Gillum. Forty neighbors helped Chuck and Kris to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary! Ice cream and ice cream beverages were enjoyed. The social committee asked each neighbor to bring canned foods to donate to the local food bank. St Mary’s received 100 pounds of food that was dropped off by Rose Waddon and Kathy Gorchesky. The social committee of Unit 61 will ask for donations of canned food at each event in the future. Neighbors are looking forward to a lunch buffet in September to say goodbye to summer.
Unit 52

The ladies of Unit 52 who lunch had a wonderful time Wednesday, August 9 at PF Chang’s. Hosted by Social Chair Nancy Rosenfeld, it was a nice reprieve from the elements and a chance to catch up on the unit news.
The busy Social Committee is planning the annual October and December Holiday parties. A Save the Date notice has been sent for October 21 and December 3 respectively.
