Highlights of PCM9GA Four Club Tournament

Bruce Hulbert

On a hot July 13 morning, 36 PCM9GA members participated in the annual Four Club Tournament in which all players must only use four clubs (including a putter) for nine holes. They could only carry those four clubs in the golf bag and could not use anyone else’s clubs!

The format was a two low net combination for each hole with all players playing their own ball for the full nine holes.

The winning team, with a score of 59, included Scott Beseda, Greg McKenzie, Clay Troxell and Randy Prinz.

In a tie for second place with scores of 60 were the teams of (one) Greg Ray, Ted McGovern, Barry Taschner and Roger Werthmann and (two) Tom Reed, Bruce Hulbert, Jim Pucelik and Dick Rodgers.

There was only one closest to the pin, Bill Wagner Jr., on Falls No. 4.

Refreshments were provided upon completion.
