Unit 52 enjoyed a great wine tasting party at Total Wine on Sunday, June 11.
In addition to sampling more than eight wonderful wines, the committee, under hostess Leann Drummond, prepared wonderful individual snack plates which included a variety of cheeses, crackers, grapes and chocolate. A terrific party!
Social Chair Nancy Rosenfeld will be announcing the fall and holiday parties in the near future.
Unit 53 happy hour

Tom and Jackie MacKenzie hosted our Unit 53 May Happy Hour on Monday, May 22 at the lovely new home they recently had built in Unit 62A. They may be in another unit but they will always be part of our Unit 53 family. We were missing some snowbirds at the happy hour that have left us for the summer but there was still a house full of friends enjoying good food and conversation, many of whom had left by the time the unit photographer remembered to take a picture. As always the island and counters were laden with loads of good stuff to eat and the bar was open.
Unit 61 potluck picnic

Unit 61 neighbors braved the gusty winds to christen the new Oasis Pool complex with a potluck picnic. Forty attended with delicious foods to share and some used the grills to create their dinner on the spot. The gorgeous pool and amenities at this Oasis complex were enjoyed well into the evening. The windy day did not deter the fun.
Unit 61 visits Wrigley

Unit 61 neighbors and friends visited Wrigley Mansion for a private tour and spectacular lunch. The tour guide gave the group a detailed history of the Wrigleys and the building of the mansion. The mansion was a gift to his wife on their fiftieth wedding anniversary. The group enjoyed a three-course lunch while marveling at the spectacular views of Camelback Mountain and downtown Phoenix. A special thank you to the planning committee of Kris and Chuck Gillum and Karen and Jeff Wilgus.
