If you have been recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and need a lumpectomy or mastectomy, please call prior to your treatment so that we can give you a special gift. It is a wonderful little heart pillow made by the PebbleCreek Quilters.
The pillows have been designed to bring comfort while recovering from surgery. The pillow is placed underneath the arm where the surgery has taken place and is held in place by a piece of elastic. This relieves the pressure on the incision. Another use for the pillow is to place it under the car seat belt so that there is no pressure on the breast following surgery.
