Sitting by the Oasis pool,
I feel the summer sun.
What better way to stay cool?
Jump in, join the fun!
Basking in the calming pond,
comfort all around.
Mountains peak to skies beyond,
jets streak without a sound.
Some like to swim their lengths,
some sit in mesh-net chairs.
Social talk seems others’ strengths,
while I close my eyes to cares.
Composing rhyming jewels
helps the day go fast.
But sitting in the Oasis pool
is summer unsurpassed.
