Pet CPR class for March 6

Marge Ellison, Vice President

The Pet Companions Club of PebbleCreek is pleased to have Megan Tuttle, DVM, as the guest speaker at our Wednesday, March 6, meeting. Dr. Tuttle will be discussing and demonstrating pet CPR techniques. We will meet at 3:00 p.m. in Room 100 of the Eagles Nest Activities Center.

Dr. Tuttle will bring her “dummy dog” to assist her in her demonstration. This dog breathes, moves and simulates a living dog in many ways.

Dr. Tuttle is a graduate of Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and has lived in Arizona most of her life. She is currently on the staff at Goodyear Animal Hospital. In addition to her husband and two toddlers, her four-legged family includes a Border Collie mix named Dixie, a scruffy Terrier mix named Sophie and a Heeler mix named Holly. Her professional interests include pet dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology and soft tissue surgery.

All PebbleCreek residents, whether club members or not, are invited to attend this very informative, free presentation.

As usual, we will have a box available for such pet related donations as: pet beds, pet toys, pet food (check expiration dates), crates, cages, towels, etc. No sheets or pillowcases, please. All those donations not used in our PebbleCreek rescues will be donated to other local animal shelters.

Please address any questions to Jim or Marge Ellison at 623-935-6651.
