Our annual Charity Tournament was held on January 15. Sheryl Dobbin and Sue Tearpak did a great job organizing this fun event with the theme “It’s a Wonderful Life.” Sheryl and Sue want to express their appreciation for everyone’s generosity and support. Donations totaled $3,219 and exceeded their goal to support the Homeless Youth Connection (HYC). Contributions will directly affect and help these youths in our area providing monetary assistance, support and meals. We also invited the Millennium High School Girls Golf team to join us. This past year the team was Section Champs and ranked sixth in the state; impressive! What a great group of young ladies and together they raised $250 for the HYC. PCL9GA contributed $500 to the Millennium Girls Golf Team which was presented to them at the Charity Event. The winners of the Charity Tournament on TF East front: Dee Reynolds, Norma Guillaume, Jacque Monroe and Dorothy Washer. TF East back: Diane Schutt, Thelma Svoboda, Dianne Briggs and Marcie Arbelbide.
