PebbleCreek Gun Club offers basic handgun class

The PebbleCreek Gun Club is offering a handgun shooting class for residents interested in learning the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a handgun safely. The class includes:

1. Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling

2. Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting

3. Preparation for Firing Your First Shots on the Range

4. Live Fire on the Joe Foss Training Range

The class will be held Friday, March 24, 8:00 a.m. to noon, at the Joe Foss Shooting Complex, 26700 W. Buckeye Hills Drive, Buckeye, Arizona. To register, email Dan Borchers at [email protected]. Please include your phone number. The $20 course fee is payable in advance. Make checks payable to PC Gun Club and mail to Dan Borchers, 16409 W. Alvarado Drive, Goodyear, Arizona 85395.

You will need to bring your own handgun and case, eye and ear protection and 100 to 200 rounds of ammunition. Your handgun must be unloaded and in its case in the classroom and you will leave all ammunition in your car until the class moves to the gun range. Loaner handguns are available with prior arrangement with Dan.
