The third LASSI tournament of the year was held at the Coyote Lakes Golf Club in Surprise on August 5, 2019.
The course had some very interesting holes; especially one of the Par 5’s. There was a rock wall across the fairway which players had to hit over to get onto the green. Quite a challenging obstacle!
The day was very warm, in fact, some players quit after only playing nine holes. But, as one player said, it is always fun to play with best friends and meet new friends.
PCLGA had the following teams represented: Geanie Aldridge/Judi Floyd, Nancy Hernandez/Meg Quarrie (WWGA), Cheryl LaMotta/Bonnie Whittier, Tess Braden/Carol Taylor, and Kathi Curtis/Donna Havener.
Winners of the Two Person Best Ball from PCLGA were: Flight A: tied for 2nd place, Kathi Curtis/Donna Havener plus 5th place, Nancy Hernandez/Meg Quarrie (WWGA). Flight C: 4th place, Tess Braden/Carol Taylor. Congratulations ladies!
The final LASSI tournament will be held on September 4, 2019, at Los Caballeros, Wickenburg.
