Learning the art of floral design

Jeff Wilson

Many women decided to start off 2019 by learning the art of floral design, a popular class taught by Kim Corbel and sponsored by the Pottery/Sculpture Club.

This was an introduction course that taught the tools, techniques and tricks of the trade. Most were surprised at the amount of creative juices that came flowing out of them once they got started. This was a particularly fun group of women that really meshed well.

They left this three-day class with a bud vase and two additional beautiful arrangements that they had created to match the unique design styles of their own homes. Many expressed an interest in another wreath class. So, with all the pet lovers in PebbleCreek, Kim has decided that her next class will center around the idea of a “Pet-Themed Wreath.”.
