For those of you who missed the January 7 general meeting, you missed an exceptional session. The guest speaker, the Reverend Dr. John Dorhauer, gave an outstanding presentation on the private prison system in America. Additional information will be posted to our website www.pcdemclub.org.
Our new officers for the upcoming year are President Bart Alford, Vice President Robert Conley, Secretary Irene Manalili and Treasurer Cathy Lindstrom.
A proposal was presented to amend our bylaws to add a fifth elected officer position, Member-at-Large, to our Executive Board. You can find the exact wording of the proposal on our website at www.pcdemclub.org. A vote on the changes will be held at out February meeting.
Our next scheduled meeting is February 4, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.
