At the November 19, 2014, PCHOA Board of Directors meeting, the current chairman of the Election Committee, Gordon Seaman, reported results of the 2014 Election Committee efforts. All Election Committee protocols were met in advertising and encouraging qualified candidates to submit their intent to run for the upcoming 2015-2016 director position.

According to PCHOA Election Procedures, in the event there is only one declared candidate who is a member in good standing and who has met the requirements for being a qualified candidate established by the Election Committee, an election is not required to be conducted. In lieu of an election under this circumstance, the Election Committee will recommend to the Board that the Board may waive the requirement for a formal election and appoint the one declared candidate for the Director position. After the September 30 deadline to declare as a candidate, Gregg Clymer was the only declared candidate, and being in good standing, the Election Committee recommended to the Board of Directors at their November 19, 2014, meeting that Clymer continue as a director for the 2015–2016 term. The Board voted to accept the Election Committee’s recommendation. This will be Clymer’s first elected term, having formerly been appointed to fill a position that was opened when a Director was unable to complete a term.

The Board of Directors would like to congratulate Gregg and wish him continued success in his first elected term on the PebbleCreek Board of Directors.
