Concert: The ShagwellsOct. 4

The Shagwells are the premier tribute to the British Rock Invasion of the early Sixties and Seventies. Covering over 70 songs, you only have to see The Shagwells but once to be hooked! They will have you out of your seat, dancing and singing along to hit after hit and feeling like a teenager all over again. You’ll be taken back in time as you listen to iconic hit songs by the greats, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Zombies, The Hollies, The Yardbirds, The Dave Clark Five, The Kinks, The Moody Blues, The Animals, The Searchers, The Easybeats, The Who, Them, Procol Harum, Gerry and The Pacemakers, Herman’s Hermits, Spencer Davis Group, and many more. The popularity of The Shagwells has grown by leaps and bounds. $35 per person (limit of 4) tickets per person. Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. online and in the Activities Office on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Travel Expo: Elevated Experiences, Free to Wander Day Trips, Regional Travel & More—Oct. 7

Join us for this great event that will feature Suzanne Hagberg, owner of Free Spirit Vacations, our travel partner. She will lead a brief information share for the entire group at the beginning of the program, with break-outs for specific areas of travel to follow, so arrival at the 9 a.m. start time is requested for all participants. Each break-out will be 30 minutes so attendees can rotate through each station if desired.

Halloween Dance—Oct. 31

Dance the night away at this annual fright-fest event featuring the coolest ghoul in town DJ Jim Allen. Tickets on sale Sept. 25 at 8 a.m. at Activities; $15. Costumes are optional. Cash bar. This spooky affair takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom.

Chic Boutique—Nov. 6; 11 a.m.–4 p.m., TF Ballroom

Shop, shop, shop! Shoes, purses, jewelry … the ingredients for a great afternoon at PebbleCreek! The annual Chic Boutique event is back in the Tuscany Falls Ballroom, Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring 3 items of canned or boxed food in lieu of an admission price you also receive a ticket for a chance to win a door prize. Bring your friends and neighbors and enjoy shopping the day away for purses, cosmetics, scarves, clothing, jewelry, skin care, wigs, accessories and much more!

Veterans Day Salute—Nov. 8

Every year we take time to give thanks and recognition to all of our military personnel who have given so much to secure our freedom. Program details will be shared soon. Tickets are $5 cash only for this special program and can be purchased at the Activities Office beginning Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 9 a.m. The proceeds will be given to a charitable organization whose focus is on our Veterans. Wear your red, white, and blue and come celebrate with us in the Renaissance Theater!

Concert: Rebel—Nov. 10

The ‘REBEL’ boys met in London, England, in 2010 whilst appearing in West End musicals Billy Elliot, JCS, Rock of Ages, and Les Miserables, and since then have gone on to be the most successful rock vocal harmony group in the world. Concert: Mick Adams Rolling Stones Tribute—Nov. 24

Named one of the top 10 tribute bands in the world by Backstage Magazine, Mick Adams and The Stones are an authentic recreation of The Rolling Stones, live in concert. Endorsed by former Atlantic Records President, Jerry Greenberg, Ryan Seacrest, and Mark Cuban, this band must be seen to be believed! According to Jerry, “It doesn’t get any closer than this!” Mick Adams and the Stones have been featured twice on National TV’s The Worlds Greatest Tribute Bands, and were the only band chosen by Mark Cuban out of seven seasons of the television show to perform a private concert for Comcast and AXS Television in January. This exciting seven piece, live recreation of The Stones in concert, features look-alike performers, multiple costume changes, full choreography, and an all-new media show. “A Celebration of Christmas” Bus Trip—Dec. 14; on sale Oct. 16 at 8 a.m.

PebbleCreek is excited to offer our residents transportation and tickets to one of America’s largest Holiday musicals, “A Celebration of Christmas” on Saturday, Dec. 9 at 3 p.m. Experience the true season of Christmas like never before! This extraordinary Broadway-style performance features a live orchestra, state-of-the-art technology with incredible special effects, professional acrobatic silk artists, a beautiful Nativity, and so much more! Rockettes, popular dance numbers and much more. The story culminates with a live Nativity, flying angels, and a 30-piece orchestra. This well-known and beloved annual event takes place at Dream City Church in north Phoenix. A very limited number of tickets will be available, plan to buy early! Price: $50.
