The first Zumba Girls Luncheon was held in September in our own Eagle’s Nest Restaurant. We had quite a good turnout despite the fact that many of the ladies are still traveling or not yet back from their summer residences. The lunch choices were many and varied and the addition of a salad bar was a nice surprise and is a great choice when you just can’t make up your mind. It was great welcoming and getting to know our newest dancers as well as being able to share continuing friendships with those of us who have been taking this class since its introduction. Some of us have been together for eight-plus years. A big thank you to our hostess Sharyl Perkett for organizing this first luncheon. Sharyl also organized luncheons for every month with a different group of ladies hosting each luncheon. We are all looking forward to that; way to go, Sharyl!
