John Mirro is our woodcarver of the month for the month of February 2023. John is a relatively new member of the club, having joined in January of 2022. John had not carved prior to joining. John enjoys carving with knives and his specialty is figurines carved from basswood along with chip carving.
John moved to PebbleCreek from Breckenridge, Colo., the site of his and wife Linda’s first retirement location. John is active in the Camera Club (both he and his wife are semi-professional photographers), enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, and is interested in computer animations utilizing artificial intelligence.
