On April 21, 200 members donned their best western gear and headed to the Tuscany Falls Ballroom to sample a wide variety of wines and a wonderful theme buffet. It’s the club’s most casual night of the year with members kicking up their heels on the dance floor while a DJ plays great tunes.
A club favorite, the upcoming event on June 16 is our Hawaiian Night. Plated dinners will feature macadamia Crusted Mahi Mahi, Huli-Huli Style Chicken, and Asian Vegetable Stir Fry. We will be expanding our tasting to include award winning Oregon state wineries. Elk Cove is known for their Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and their sister vineyard, Pike Road Wines, featuring Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. Something for everyone!
Summertime doesn’t stop the Wine Club, and in July will be celebrating the 250th birthday of our country, asking members to wear their red, white, and blue. Plans are being made—stay tuned.
It is membership time! The Wine Club is open to all residents of PebbleCreek, the only caveat is enjoying wine with likeminded neighbors. We have scheduled events all year, perfect for full–time residents, normally meeting on the third Tuesday of the month in a dinner or tasting format, themed around specific wines or varietals. Each event is priced separately, and members or guests reserve their seats on our webpage, pcwineclub.com, with their payments. As a club member there are no attendance or obligations to attend events. Our membership begins on May 1. Please visit our website to join us for another fun–filled year.
