The lanes cooled down, the remotes went silent, and another sizzling season of Wii Bowling Summer League has come to a close. This happened just in time for the Arizona heat to remind us why indoor fun is a very good idea. As usual, we celebrated big strikes, bigger smiles, and a whole lot of digital pin action.
Although there is a lot of competition, it’s the socializing that keeps us all coming back! This is a crowd who loves to cheer one another on. In Summer League, we had a blast of eight perfect games. That’s eight games where players rolled 12 strikes in a row! Help us cheer on your friends’ and neighbors’ achievements. Our five 300 bowlers are, Kathy Lagerstrum x 4, Ed Dolezal, Jim Vail, Dave Peterson, and Cathy Sirota.
Congratulations to our top 10 men and women scorers. This requires consistency and good form, which paid off this summer.
Almost anyone can play this game. Wii Bowling is digital bowling and an intermediate activity. If you can use a TV remote, you can swing your arm and make the digital ball roll down the lane. It’s that easy, and it’s a great way to stay active, social, and competitive without worrying about sore knees or heavy shoes. Even those with mobility issues successfully Wii Bowl.
Fall League starts Sept. 14. If you missed initial registration, we may be able to fit your team into the 2:30 p.m. session. For availability and questions, contact Heather Ferreira at heather.ferreira@robson.com.
See you on the lanes! Bring your A-game and a thirst for victory. We’ve got a full bar, so you can quench the Arizona heat with a cold drink!
