Did You Know?—The construction crew at PebbleCreek has been hard at work completely refinishing the Eagle’s Nest golf course. The process started in January and the crew has spent the last nine months replacing the irrigation system, re-laying the greens and redoing the bunkers. The greens were completely cored and new drainage systems installed. They were filled with fresh pea gravel and a new sand base for the grass to grow. Plus, the grass was changed to a mini verde grass—a type of bermuda grass that does well in the heat. Golfers, both residents and visitors, are very excited about these great changes to the course.
