January 23, 2016, Kathy Sork will be offering a class using Acrylic and Collage applied to a lamp. It will be an all-day class. The lamp is on display in the Gallery now by the sign-up folders. Kathy will be providing the lamps, hardware and bulbs as well as the special paper used, plastic cups and plastic bags. You do not need any experience to enjoy this class and go home with a one of a kind lamp made by you. The cost is $60.
Kathy comes to us from Vancouver, Washington and is a very talented, bubbly artist who enjoys life to the fullest. Her formal training was as a graphic artist but soon after graduation, she decided she wanted to experiment with other mediums. Color is what she is all about and she does acrylics, pastels and watercolor. Her latest love is pottery. Come by the Creative Arts Building and take a look at her work.
