September 2015 – Shalom Club members and perspective members are returning in droves. What a full month we have beginning with Monday, September 14 (Rosh Hashanah), Tuesday, September 22 (Kol Nidre) and Wednesday, September 23 (Yom Kippur). Our members will be celebrating with friends and family at many synagogue locations throughout the Phoenix area. Our own PebbleCreek offers three services for our residents. These are the holiest Jewish holidays of the year.
The Shalom Club offers an annual Break-The-Fast meal on Wednesday evening after sundown on Yom Kippur. (Yom Kippur is a day of fasting in the Jewish tradition). We are at a new location this year! Please note day/date, place, time and cost:
Wednesday; September 23 – Palm Valley Golf Banquet Room – 6:24 p.m. – $16 per person!
Please sign up on our website: www.pcshalomclub.org and make your checks payable to the PebbleCreek Shalom Club. Checks are being accepted by our treasurer, Carl Schatz. It would be appreciated if you would remit as soon as possible as an accurate head count is needed one week prior to the dinner.
Our first meeting of the season will be on Sunday, September 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Eagle’s Nest Ballroom. Join us for schmoozing, meeting and announcements for the upcoming months. There are many surprises in store and a multitude of fun filled nights out planned. Bring a prospective member guest to our meeting. Let them see what it’s all about! Share your club with other PC residents. Let’s not keep it a secret! See you this September!
