The Water Fitness classes held Monday through Friday at the Tuscany Falls outside pool will be changing to their fall schedule on Wednesday, November 1. Class will be held indoors at 8:00 a.m. through March. The class will then return to the outside pool at 7:30 a.m.
Jason Chernosky will continue to teach the class on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Sue White will continue to teach the Monday and Wednesday classes. They will alternate teaching the Friday schedule.
Jason has been teaching in PebbleCreek for over a year and has been in fitness for several years. He works full time for the Maricopa County Sheriff. Sue has been teaching in PebbleCreek for over eight years and has been teaching water fitness for 27 years. She is retired and lives in PebbleCreek.
Both are certified instructors and love teaching to see the fun their participants are having in a “cool environment” yet providing them with the benefits of the water to keep them active.
Their classes help participants improve agility, balance, coordination and strength targeting all the major muscle groups. Participants blast away with a variety of exercises thereby burning calories and increasing their metabolic heart rate. If your goal is muscle tone, weight loss, cross training or just some fun, come and join Jason and Sue.
The properties of the water provide buoyancy, so power moves can be done with little or no impact to joints. The water also provides added resistance.
The class is ideal for those who have had past knee or hip injuries or replacements.
All the classes are timed to music to enjoy the workout. Occasionally you can hear Jason belting out one of his favorite country songs.
We look forward to you joining us at the Tuscany Falls Pool!
